My weekend: Part 1

We took a mini va-ca to Salt Lake City.  Ahhhhhh.  What a wonderful life I am living!  On Saturday we went to Cowabunga Bay.  It was a nice sunny day.  The girls and I went on every slide.  Although Logan is tall enough for some of the other slides he preferred the kids area.  We decided not to pressure him to go on some of the bigger slides in hopes that he would decide on his own to do them, and that did not work.  In the Schaeffer handbook it says we are able to bribe our kids when we are trying to get them to do crazy/fun things with us that we know they will love...if they just try it.  And this only worked once for Logan.  He went on a bigger green slide with Paul for Ice cream.  Unfortunately Logan did not like the splashing water in his face. That bribe slightly backfired, since he was suppose to love it and keep going....back to the kiddy pool. Nicely surprised that it was not too busy!  But next time we go to SLC we will visit a different water park.
